About this guy. From Metro Networks...
The suspect in custody in the BTK killings is reportedly battling depression. "Time" Magazine reports Dennis Rader has been having a hard time sleeping since his arrest and is struggling to keep his spirits high. Rader is also apparently worried about his family, which hasn't spoken with him since he was taken into custody. The writer from "Time" interviewed Rader's attorneys for the story. They say they're spending about five hours a day with their client trying to get to know him. One of their main focuses may be to get a change of venue in the case. The attorneys reportedly think it will be difficult for Rader to get a fair trial in the Wichita, Kansas area. The 59-year-old has been charged with ten counts of first-degree murder in connection with the string of killings that started back in the early '70s.
I would probably care more about his depression if he didn't kill ten people. I'm much more interested in hearing about the depression of the families of the victims who died horribly.
