An arrest has been made in bizarre case that started unfolding in the late 1990s. Peter Young and an alleged accomplice are accused of freeing about eight thousand mink from mink farms in Wisconsin, South Dakota and Iowa. One fur farm in Independence, Wisconsin was forced to shut its doors after 800 mink, valued at more than 200-thousand-dollars, were released into the wild. Young was finally taken into custody in California and could be sentenced to more than eight decades behind bars if convicted of the six federal charges against him.
Oops! I guess you shouldn't be breaking those laws. I wonder if Mr. Yound new the consequences of freeing those mink, he would still have done it, and ignorance isn't an excuse. Have fun in the pokey...you why why they call it the pokey don't you Mr. Young...
