The U.S. Navy wants to know how a West African man got aboard the USS Truman while docked in England. According to the "Daily Press," Abdoul Masmoud Yessoufou boarded the aircraft carrier April 9th while the ship was in a Portsmouth, England port. Yessoufou apparently was able to pass through Royal Navy and U.S. Navy security before getting on a ferry boat used to transport crew members back and forth to the Truman. The Navy says he was aboard the ship for about 15 minutes before being found by security. Yessoufou was detained under the Terrorism Act 2000, but later released on a trespassing charge. The security breech remains under investigation.
Come on guys...can we have just a little bit better security? I mean, YOU ARE THE NAVY! Let's get it together people.
