Al Qaeda Joins the Crowd

Another tape is warning of more terrorist attacks in the U.S. Aired on al-Jazeera television, the audiotape threatens more attacks, and says President Bush is lying about arrests of two-thirds of al-Qaeda members. Meanwhile, according to CIA Director George Tenet, al-Qaeda is weakening, but its anti-American sentiment is spreading to other militant Islamic groups.

Imagine that. Yet another "mainstream" group claiming "Bush Lied". For anyone freaking out about my characterization, I will use what every Democratic Pundit says when called to the carpet for meanspiritedness.

"It is just satire". "I feel like your censoring me". "You might not like it but it makes you think".

He may only be in the fifth grade, but Jeremy Robinson already has some law enforcement experience under his belt. The "Terre Haute Tribune-Star" says the Vigo County Sheriff's Department yesterday honored the ten year old during a school assembly for his help in tracking down two burglars over the weekend. Sheriff's officials say a man near New Goshen came home Saturday morning to find a burglary in progress. Investigators say the two burglars fled the home and concerned citizens joined officers in a search of some nearby woods.

Way to go Jeremy! Hey, and remember,"Be Careful out there".

Health Risks in China

When you think of health risks in China what comes to mind...Floods? SARS? The Government? Well turns out the biggest health risk in China is.....

Exploding bottles of beer caused one of the biggest health risks last year in China. The Chinese news agency reports that a variety of risks were reported that include food safety, personal safety and children's food issues. However, the biggest risk came from the beer that exploded due to hot whether in the summer. The odd event was responsible for most of the summer's injuries to consumers.

I can hear the warning labels being printed as we speak.

People Don't Kill People, Fake Legs Kill People

A Maryland man is accused of pulling off a neighbor's prosthetic leg and beating him with it. According to the "Free Lance Star," authorities say the incident happened after an argument broke out between the two at an apartment complex where they live. They say Michael Clapp noticed some medicine missing from his apartment last Wednesday and went to his next door neighbor's place to confront him about it. Police say Rodney Prophitt didn't appreciate Clapp's accusations and pulled Clapp's artificial leg off and started hitting him with it. They say Clapp managed to eventually get his leg back and call 911. Clapp got a broken nose and some facial injuries and Prophitt is charged with assault.

Talk about a kick in the head....

This guy's a moron

When somebody parked their car in an Englewood man's driveway, he decided to resolve the matter with a gun. As a result, he could go to jail for up to three years. Detective Perry Schellfeffer (SHELL-feh-fer) said yesterday afternoon, a car occupied by two 18-year-old girls pulled into the driveway of 40-year-old Daniel Purdy, because the driver had left her cellphone at home two doors down the street. Purdy ordered the passenger to move the car. He then went in his house, pulled out a gun, loaded it in front of them, and threatened them again. Minutes later, officers showed up and arrested Purdy and charged him with menacing with a handgun, a class five felony. Schellfeffer said Purdy admitted the gun-waving was not a smart idea.

Now this guy probably shouldn't be owning a gun, and thanks to his own actions, he probably won't have that right anymore.

P. Diddy is off the hook after a Detroit jury today cleared him of an assault charge. A former local talk show host accused rap mogul Sean Combs of ordering his bodyguards to beat him up. Roger Mills says the beating took place in 1999 after he asked Combs about rumors he was involved in the murder of fellow rapper Notorious B.I.G. Mills was seeking an undisclosed amount of damages. Mills has not decided if he will appeal.

Now Puff Diddy can get back to the business of winning J Lo back...if anyone cares.

I have to say that I'm not the biggest N.E.A. fan, but THIS is way over the top. From Drudge Report.

Education Secretary Rod Paige called the nation's largest teachers union a "terrorist organization" during a private White House meeting with governors on Monday.

Democratic and Republican governors confirmed Paige's remarks about the National Education Association.

"These were the words, 'The NEA is a terrorist organization,'" said Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle of Wisconsin.

"He was making a joke, probably not a very good one," said Democratic Gov. Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania. "Of course he immediately divorced the NEA from ordinary teachers, who he said he supports."

"I don't think the NEA is a terrorist organization," said Rendell, who has butted heads with the group as well. "They're not a terrorist organization any more than the National Business Organization is a terrorist organization.

Neither the Education Department nor NEA had an immediate comment on Paige's comments. Both indicated that statements were forthcoming.

Ummm.....rigghhht. Look, the NEA does use an awful lot of pressure when dealing with anyone who diagrees with them, but "Terrorists" is a bit strong.

Let's all just agree to leave the label "terrorists" for people that actually COMMIT TERRORISM.

The Illuminati Strikes

One of the most prominent and outspoken alleged victims of a pedophile priest in the Boston Archdiocese has died. Patrick McSorley was found dead in his North End apartment. McSorley was an alleged victim of the late defrocked priest John Geoghan. McSorley was nearly always available to speak with reporters about the priest sex abuse scandal and he joined other survivors at court hearings regarding the settlement that was reached last year with the Archdiocese of Boston. McSorley nearly died last summer when he fell into the Neponset River. He was later arrested on drug charges. McSorley was 29 years old.

I will let the debate regarding which conspiratorial group is responsible for this horrible tragedy begin immediately.

Two Swiss engineers are under investigation for their alleged participation in the worldwide nuclear black market. A report from Malaysian police says they questioned Sri Lankan businessman Buhary Syed Abu Tahir on suspicion of nuclear black marketeering. The businessman named Urs and Friedrich Tanner -- who are father and son -- among his global network of nuclear black market contacts. Swiss officials say the pair may have violated Swiss export regulations. They also say they're looking into Friedrich Tinner's role in the shipment of machine tools to Malaysia. Malaysian police say they took Tahir in for questioning after British and U.S. intelligence tipoffs last year.

I'm going to be interested to see who else is responsible for giving Nukes to people that ought not have them.
