from KCBS...
A veteran state lawmaker has beat a chronic case of hiccups, which had afflicted him for more than a month.Fayette County state Representative Larry Roberts was back in his Uniontown office Tuesday after being released this week from a Pittsburgh hospital, where he was being treated since July 19th so doctors could try to determine the cause of the problem.
Neither Roberts' staff nor the House Democratic Communications Office described the treatment that helped Roberts get a handle on the hiccups.
The six-term Democrat handled paperwork from his bed and canceled eight town meetings in his 51st district.
O>K., you can laugh...as long as you then think about how awful it would be to have hiccups for a month straight. I hate them after one minute.
Wow. I want to know what the treatment was, for crying out loud. Why keep it a secret?
