Lawren is THE source for Hollywood news, but this is just too disturbing...
Molly Ringwald said she's in discussions to make a sequel to "Sixteen Candles," the 1984 movie about the obstacles and embarrassments a teen girl faces on her birthday.
Look Molly, I understand that you want to get back in the limelight...all actors have that itch, but let me tell you something...Sixteen Candles is an all time classic and making a sequel is just wrong. I've got a better idea...talk to Quentin Tarantino about a part in his next movie. You can be a strung out, coked up assassin who gets a gory death scene. That'll put you right back on top. Just look what it did for John Travolta.
Agreed, Sixteen Candles is a classic and should not be tampered with.
