Normally about this time, I would have been just getting home from a morning...a very early morning of traffic reports.
Not anymore.
Tomorrow is Day 1 of the new career, Athletic Director.
I have to say it's been quite strange not doing news and traffic anymore. It's amazing how stress free it was. Sure there were deadlines and yelling and getting the news out at the last minute. Yes, there was reports that couldn't be missed, period. I guess I just knew how to handle that stuff.
Being an athletic director is totally different. Not only are the questions different, so are the directions they come from. Imagine facing the problems of driving a taxi one day, and mixing chemicals the next....at least it's fun.
sorry for the lack of posting. I will keep going when I can. The next six months will be very interesting for me and this blog. Look for changes.
P.S. My condolences go out to Peter Jennings' family. It's sad to see people pass, whether you agree with their politics or not.
This article is very usefull for me! I can see that you are putting a lots of efforts into your blog. I will keep watching in your blog, thanks.

I find the new direction of your life exciting. I know that being on the radio is what came naturally for you, but change is fun from time to time. Wishing you well, and if you need any help with the teens, let me know. I have two of my own.

Interesting career change - I've been gone for about 3 weeks, and was quite surprised at this announcement. Good luck!
Liz and Geoff (we owe you a beer)
